Watch Best-Selling Author Edward Griffin Use Real Silver Money for the First Time
During the successful Anarchapulco conference late February, best-selling American author, Edward Griffin did not mince words when it came to talking money, he wants tangible assets as backup.
Griffin, author of The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve, has been one of the most vocal critics of the U.S. central bank, often writing about its corruption of the monetary system.
“The Federal Reserve is one of the most dangerous creatures ever to stalk our land,” Griffin penned in his book.
In an interview with the LODE team on the sidelines of the conference, Griffin said money has to be backed by real hard assets such as silver or gold or freedom will eventually be “snuffed” out.
During the event, Griffin became a staunch supporter and ambassador for the LODE community. He is an advocate of sound money and for the return of silver to the monetary system. Griffin was very much impressed with the LODE project and was given a walk-through of how AGX works in day-to-day life.
In this week’s video, LODE and AGX Ambassador Nick Prouten shares footage of the groundbreaking moment Griffin uses silver for the exchange of goods.
“LODE is building the future of money and putting idle silver to work, among those individuals we were very excited to connect with renowned author, Edward Griffin,” Prouten said.
“I had the privilege of getting to know [Griffin] personally, as we talked about his perspective on collectivism versus individualism and the state of global finance…[t]he underpinnings that lie underneath the modern news world today, as well as how the power of LODE and asset-backed cryptocurrencies can bring integrity and rights of freedom back to the individual and create a greater good for the benefit of all mankind,” Prouten introduced.
The video takes us through the experience of putting silver to work, which Prouten defined as “seamless.” The experience took place while purchasing a cup of coffee at the Starbucks located within the resort, very much the same process that silver guru David Morgan participated in.
“It was the first time ever that Edward had the opportunity to use real silver modern money to purchase physical goods. Afterwards, he had the privilege to connect with another LODE ambassador, Ian Richard, where they talked about future opportunities between LODE and the Red Pill Expo.”
Griffin is the visionary behind the Red Pill Expo which is taking place June 7-9 in Hartford, CT. The conference is dedicated to revealing “truths” in finance, healthcare, globalization and climate change.
Prouten summed up Edward’s experience as being “smooth” and “seamless,” and that he is a committed advocate for AGX and the LODE project.
Griffin’s work was one of the inspirations for the creation of AGX Coin and the LODE project which seeks to transfer the use of silver as real honest money back to the people.
LODE is constructing the world’s first Cryptographic Silver Monetary System utilizing a blockchain protocol to enable the creation and distribution of two tokenized assets, each representing a unique relationship with investment-grade silver.
